Located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, the Scottish Rite Cathedral is the ideal venue for your wedding ceremony, wedding reception, corporate event or social gathering. Teaming up with Kahn’s Catering, we want to make your event one you and your guests will talk about forever.

The building was built in 1929 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. We proudly welcome guests in for guided historic tours of the building Tuesday through Friday from 10:00am until 2:00pm. If you're interested in setting up a tour to potentially host an event here, please visit the Contact page to schedule a tour time. If you decide to visit, we welcome you to stop for lunch from 11:00am until 2:00pm in the Double Eagle Cafe located on the Mezzanine level, managed by Kahn's Catering. Due to COVID-19, we currently are not offering guided historic tours and the Double Eagle Cafe is currently closed.

We offer free parking for all building visitors and event guests. Our West lot is located off of North Street. To get into the parking lot, please press the large silver button. If you're visiting during the week, please plan to park in a Daily Parking Space, marked in red signage. If you're visiting for a private event in the building on an evening or weekend, please feel free to use any of the parking spaces.
